Privacy

This page is short, because there is not much to say.

This site keeps no personal data about its visitors

  • No cookies are set. No audience measurement, no advertising, no session.
  • No advertising analytics tool (Google Analytics or other) is installed. Traffic is measured without cookies, see “Audience measurement” below.
  • The quote form sends nothing to this site. The packages page offers one: it puts your message together and hands it to your email software, and you are the one who sends it. Your message is neither transmitted nor stored here: only the name of the chosen package is counted, as explained below.
  • Fonts, images and scripts come from this domain, without exception. No other site is informed of your visit.
  • There is no account to create, and no personal visitor data behind this site. Only the messages you choose to send by email are kept, see “If you write”.

The only things your browser stores are your theme choice — light, dark or your system’s — and, if you asked for it, your refusal of audience measurement. They stay in your browser, on your device, and are sent nowhere.

Audience measurement, without cookies

Traffic is measured by this site alone, in four ways, with no cookie and no identifier: there is no way to know who did what.

  • Page views and reading time, measured by this site. A small script included in the pages sends this site the page address, the name of the site you came from (without the rest of its address) or the page of this site you just left and, when you leave the page, the time spent and how far you scrolled. It also reports the type of link you click (button to the DoliStore, email address of this site, Dolibarr forum, another site — only its name is recorded), the package chosen when you prepare a quote request, and the fact that you copy a passage or a command, without the copied text. The site adds the country (provided by Cloudflare) and the device type (computer or mobile), inferred from your browser’s identity. Neither your IP address nor your browser’s identity is stored, and no identifier links your pages together. Only daily totals are kept, and separately: per page (with the site people arrive from), per country, per device type. They are never combined: one can tell that a page was viewed three times on a given day and that two pages were viewed from Germany that day, but not which page was viewed from Germany.
  • Important actions, recorded one by one for 3 days at most. A click to the DoliStore, a quote request or a click on an email address of this site is also recorded on its own, with the time rounded to the hour (for example “between 10 pm and 11 pm”), the page and the action, nothing else, to notify the publisher. This record cannot tell who you are; it is deleted automatically after 3 days at most.
  • Clicks on the “Buy on the DoliStore” buttons. The button goes through an address on this site, which records the date, the module and the page the click came from, then sends you on to the DoliStore listing.
  • Views of the Dolix listings on the DoliStore. A screenshot of each module, in its DoliStore listing, is served by this site, which only records the date, the listing, the language and whether the request comes from a declared robot. Neither the country nor the device type of DoliStore visitors is recorded.

These totals are only used to know which pages and modules draw interest. They are kept in this site’s database, at Cloudflare, the site’s host, for 25 months at most: they are then deleted automatically.

Refusing the measurement

You can stop the measurement made by this site on this browser. Your refusal is kept in your browser; it disappears if you clear this site’s data.

If you write

The two addresses on this site, support@dolix.fr and contact@dolix.fr, forward to a personal Gmail mailbox.

When you write, your email address and the content of your message are used solely to reply to you, to provide module support and to handle your quote request. They are not sold, transferred, used for marketing or added to any newsletter.

You can ask for your messages to be deleted at any time by writing to contact@dolix.fr.

Host logs

This site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any host, Cloudflare may keep connection logs containing your IP address, for the operation and security of the service. This processing is the host’s responsibility, not this site’s, and is not used here.

This site links to sites it does not own: the DoliStore, the Dolibarr project site, its forum, its issue tracker. What happens there is governed by their own rules. None of these links carries a tracking identifier.

Buying a module

Purchases are made on the DoliStore, which is the seller. The data you enter there — identity, contact details, payment method — is collected and processed by the DoliStore under its own rules. This site has no access to it.

Data controller and your rights

The controller of this processing is Noé Trotin, sole trader (trading name Dolix), 1 rue de Saint-Hippolyte, 67100 Strasbourg, France, reachable at contact@dolix.fr (see the legal notice).

  • Audience measurement (the totals, and the record of important actions) is used to know which pages and modules draw interest. Legal basis: the publisher’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). It is exempt from consent (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act) because it is limited to anonymous statistics, with no identifier and no cross-referencing. Retention: 25 months for the totals, 3 days for the record.
  • Your emails are used to reply to you, provide support and prepare a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps or the contract when you ask for a quote or for help with a purchased module (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), legitimate interest in replying in other cases (Article 6(1)(f)). Retention: 3 years after your last message, unless you ask for deletion sooner.
  • Prospecting: Dolix sometimes writes to professionals who use or look for Dolibarr, to offer its services (see below). Legal basis: the publisher’s legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR); the message always relates to your professional activity. Data: name, organisation, professional email address or contact form, and the address of the public page where they appear. Retention: 3 years after the last exchange; if you refuse, only that refusal is kept, so as not to write to you again.

Who receives this data. No one but the publisher. It goes through technical providers: Cloudflare (hosting of the site and its database), IONOS (email forwarding) and Google (the Gmail mailbox messages are sent from and arrive in). The prospecting file is kept on a personal server of the publisher, in France. Cloudflare and Google are US companies; they state that they take part in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights. You can ask for access to your data, its rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or portability, and object to its processing, by writing to contact@dolix.fr. Audience measurement keeps nothing that identifies you: there is no data to hand over, but you can object with the “Stop measuring my visits” button above. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr), or with the authority of your country.

If you received a message from Dolix

Your professional contact details were found on a public page: Dolibarr forum or wiki, your company’s website, a job offer, a code repository. They are only used to write to you about Dolibarr; they are neither sold nor transferred. To receive nothing more, reply “stop” or write to contact@dolix.fr.
